What Season 4 Needs to Get Right
The biggest challenge is giving viewers a genuine reason to return.
Bringing Ted back simply because audiences missed him would not be enough.
The women’s-team storyline needs characters who become interesting in their own right rather than substitutes for Jamie, Sam, Dani or the other Richmond players.
Returning characters also need meaningful development.
Rebecca, Roy and Keeley should not be reset to earlier versions of themselves merely to recreate familiar situations.
