Copyright Complaints and Takedown Policy

Flicklevel respects the intellectual-property rights of creators, studios, publishers, photographers, artists, developers and other rights holders.

This policy explains how copyright concerns relating to material appearing on https://www.flicklevel.com may be submitted and reviewed.

Original and Third-Party Content

Original articles, editorial opinions, branding and graphics created specifically for Flicklevel belong to Flicklevel or their respective credited creators unless otherwise stated.

Movie titles, television titles, game titles, trademarks, logos, posters, still images, screenshots, trailers, promotional materials and other third-party works remain the property of their respective owners.

Flicklevel is not affiliated with or endorsed by a studio, streaming platform, television network, game publisher or other entertainment company unless clearly stated.

Use of Images and Media

Flicklevel may use original graphics, embedded media, licensed materials, official promotional assets or limited third-party material for identification, reporting, criticism, commentary, review or other purposes reasonably believed to be permitted by applicable law.

The appearance of third-party material does not mean that Flicklevel claims ownership of it. A credit or disclaimer also does not automatically make an otherwise unauthorised use lawful.

Submitting a Copyright Complaint

If you believe material appearing on Flicklevel infringes a copyright you own or are authorised to represent, send a written complaint containing:

Your full legal name and reliable contact information.
Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, provide a clear representative list.
The exact Flicklevel URL where the disputed material appears.
Enough information to help us identify the specific text, image, video or other material concerned.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or applicable law.
A statement that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for the copyright owner, made under penalty of perjury where applicable.
Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete complaints may require additional information before they can be assessed.

How Complaints Are Handled

After receiving a sufficiently detailed complaint, Flicklevel may:

Review the disputed material
Request additional information
Remove or replace the material
Disable access where appropriate
Correct an attribution
Contact the affected writer, contributor or service provider
Decline a complaint that does not establish a reasonable copyright concern

Submitting a complaint does not guarantee removal. Each complaint will be considered according to the available information and applicable law.

Counter-Notice or Request for Reconsideration

If material you supplied was removed or restricted and you believe the action resulted from a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written request for reconsideration containing:

Your full name and contact information.
Identification of the removed material and the URL where it previously appeared.
A clear explanation of why you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury where applicable, that you have a good-faith belief that the removal resulted from a mistake or misidentification.
Any jurisdictional or service-of-process statements required by the law applicable to the complaint.
Your physical or electronic signature.

False or Abusive Complaints

Do not knowingly submit false, misleading or fraudulent copyright complaints.

Anyone submitting a complaint or counter-notice is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and may be responsible for consequences resulting from a material misrepresentation.

Content Hosted by Third Parties

Some videos, social-media posts and other media appearing on Flicklevel may be embedded from third-party platforms.

Flicklevel may be able to remove an embed from an article, but it may not control the original material hosted by the third-party platform. Concerns about the original hosted content may also need to be submitted directly to that platform.

No Illegal Downloads or Piracy

Flicklevel does not host or intentionally link to pirated movies, illegal streaming services, unauthorised downloads, cracked games or copyright-infringing files.
