The Séance of Blake Manor: Find a Missing Woman Before Time Runs Out

Spoiler notice: Opening premise and confirmed gameplay only. No suspects’ secrets, puzzle solutions or ending revelations.

The guests at Blake Manor are preparing to contact the dead. Detective Declan Ward has a more immediate concern: finding a missing woman.

Set in Ireland in 1897, The Séance of Blake Manor sends Ward into a remote hotel to investigate the disappearance of Evelyn Deane. Mystics have gathered for a séance around All Hallows’ Eve, and the building holds secrets that complicate his search. Developed by Spooky Doorway and published by Raw Fury, it is a single-player supernatural detective adventure.

You investigate from a first-person perspective. The work involves questioning guests, gathering clues and recording evidence in a journal. As your understanding develops, you make deductions and challenge suspects about their motives. Exploring the hotel also involves environmental puzzles and finding access to restricted areas.

The clock makes those tasks more difficult. Investigative actions advance the day, while the hotel’s occupants follow their own schedules. A conversation you postpone may be unavailable when you return. Being in the right place at the right moment becomes part of solving the case.

That system gives the premise its strongest practical hook. Players must weigh the value of another clue against the time spent pursuing it. A detailed journal can organise what you already know, but deciding where to go next still demands judgment.

Visually, the game uses a comic-book style, with influences drawn from Irish mythology and Victorian spiritualism. Its appeal is likely to be strongest for players who enjoy reading closely, comparing accounts and building an explanation from incomplete evidence. The upcoming release brings the investigation to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on 27 October 2026. The Steam edition, supporting Windows and Linux, has been available since 27 October 2025.

Players can purchase the game on supported storefronts. Xbox also lists it for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass from 27 October, with console, PC and cloud access depending on the plan, device and supported region. A subscription is required for that route; inclusion does not make it a free download for everyone.
